Privacy policy

In short and in plain words: what data we receive, why, where it's stored and how to delete it. Updated 12 October 2026.

1. Who we are

This website belongs to the Amarae Visual studio ("we"). We are responsible for processing the personal data you leave on the website or send us directly.

2. What data we receive

From the enquiry form: your name, a contact (phone, Telegram or email), the services and timing you chose, and any text you write.
When you write to us yourself on Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram or by email: everything you send in your message.
While working on an order: the materials you provide for the project (texts, logos, photos).

We do not ask for or collect special categories of data (health, religion, etc.) and do not collect data about children.

3. Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and discuss the project.
To prepare a proposal and complete the order.
To meet legal requirements, for example bookkeeping, if an order is placed.

We don't send marketing emails without your separate consent, and we never sell your data.

4. Legal basis

We process data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

your consent, which you give by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a));
preparing and performing a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b));
a legal obligation, for example keeping accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c)).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Only our team has access to enquiries. To make the website and enquiries work, we use services that technically process data on our behalf:

website hosting, where the website is hosted;
Telegram, where enquiries from the form arrive;
email and messengers, if you write to us through them.

Some of these services may store data outside the European Union. In such cases the transfer takes place on grounds provided for by the GDPR, for example the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not share your data with anyone else, except where required by law.

6. How long we keep data

Enquiries without an order: up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
Data on completed orders: for as long as Latvian accounting law requires.

7. Cookies & analytics

The website does not use advertising cookies or analytics that track visitors. If we ever add them, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

8. People in our photos and videos

The examples of our work on this website may include people. We only publish such images with their consent. If you recognise yourself and would like an image removed, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

At any time you can:

find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
correct inaccurate data;
ask us to delete your data;
restrict or object to processing;
receive your data in a portable format;
withdraw your consent.

To do so, simply write to amarae.visual@outlook.com. We will reply within a month, usually much sooner.

If you believe we are violating your rights, you can file a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv) or with the supervisory authority in your EU country.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page with a new update date.
